Mary Knight Wetsel, 91, passed away November 2, 2010.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio February 28, 1919 to Hal G. and Mary I. Knight. She was a graduate of Old Trail School in Fairlawn, Ohio and Skidmore College. Mary was a member of Junior League of Akron, on the Women's Board of City Hospital, on the Board of Sumner Home, Board of Trustees at Old Trail School and Diacontiate First Congregational Church of Akron.
Preceded in death by her husband, Richard C. Wetsel; survived by daughter, Mary W. Alfred Meyer; granddaughter, Mary Katharine Bryan Leach; great-granddaughter, Mary Catherine Victoria Leach.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, November 20th at the First Congregational Church of Akron, 292 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44308 with Dr. Jay Marshall Groat officiating. Private inurnment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
