Mary Suzanne Calvin Wilson a native of Akron, Ohio was born on November 14, 1934 at Akron City Hospital. On Friday, September 26th at 3:53 a.m. Mary Sue passed away peacefully, also at Akron City Hospital.

Mary Sue was born and raised in Akron, and graduated from Old Trail and Centenary College in Hacketstown, NJ. She was one of two children born to the late LaRue and Ernest Calvin. Her brother, Jon, preceded her in death in 1993. She will forever be remembered by her beloved children, John Frederick (Karen) Wilson Jr. of LaVerne, CA, Kimberly C. (Craig) Rhodes of Oswego, IL, Elesa (Wayne) Miller of Silver Spring, MD, Douglas (Cindy) Perry Wilson of El Paso, TX, and last but never least, Amyann (Leonard) Maughan of Santa Clarita, CA. Mary Sue has a total of 18 grandchildren: Chrystal, John III, Natalie, Eric, Anthony, Nisha, Calvin, Larry, Elizabeth, Kyle, Chris, Shannon, Kimberly, Drew, Weston, Aaron, Sam, and Jenna; along with 6.5 great grandchildren: Tucker, Rose, Connor, Christopher, Lily, Makayla, and baby girl Rhodes due in December, all of whom she affectionately referred to as her "little dollies".

Mary Sue touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, and maintained her trademark sense of intelligence and soliloquy all the way to the end. Mary Sue volunteered for many years at Stan Hywet Hall and loved her work and family there.

Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at 12 Noon on Monday, September 29th, 2014, at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday. In lieu of flowers, all donations may be sent to One of a Kind Pets, 1929 W. Market St., Akron 44313 or Stan Hywet Foundation, 714 N.
