Mary Brennan Worthington passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 26, 2014.
She was born in Akron Ohio on November 27, 1928 to Arthur and Nora Brennan. Mary was a graduate of Our Lady of the Elms and Maryland College for Women. She also attended Akron University. She was a member of Delta Gamma and The Junior League of Akron. Mary enjoyed gardening, birds, summers at Duck Lake and her beloved Scottish Terriers. She adored and loved her grandchildren, Nora and Kate.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Worthington McQueary and granddaughters, Nora and Kate McQueary. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Brennan Ederer.
Mary will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched. Her family wishes to express their thanks to the many kind and dedicated caregivers she has had over the past several years.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Lisa O'Rear-Lassen officiating. Inurnment at Rose Hill Burial Park. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
