Mary Ann Morehead

Mary Ann Morehead, 80 of Akron passed away on March 12, 2022. Mary Ann was born in Pana, Illinois on July 17, 1941 to the late Henry and Mary Petit.

Prior to marriage she was employed by the Illinois Dept. of Education.

She was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and was a fan of all Cleveland sports teams. She enjoyed spending quality time with her 4 grandchildren and their activities such as dance recitals, sporting events and weekends with Amma.

Preceded in death by her loving husband Harold Ray Morehead and infant daughter Mary Lynn Morehead. She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Shelly) Morehead and their daughter Erin; daughter Susan (Joe) Hoffman and their children Sydney, Christopher, and Katelyn.

Family and friends may visit from 6-8 PM on Thursday March 17, 2022 at the Billow Funeral Home 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio 44333. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in her name.
