May F. Armstrong, 92, died Jan. 5, 2009 of natural causes.
She was born in Akron, Ohio on May 1, 1916, the daughter of Melvin and Grace Tisen Lind. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker residing in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio for over 65 years.
May was preceded in death by her parents; her devoted husband of 56 years, Gerald in 1987; brothers, Joseph Lind and Richard Lind; sisters, Jenny Lind Thompson and Jessie Lind. She is survived by her children, Jared Sandy Armstrong of Franklin, Mass., Linda Joseph Keblesh of Sylvania, Ohio and Kim William Sorboro of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
May's family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of The Merriman Nursing Home for their loving care for the past 3 years.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the family's convenience. Memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society of Greater Akron or the charity of your choice.
