Michael P. Coburn "Mickey" passed away on December 30.
He was born on New Years' Day 1940.
Preceded in death by his parents, William and Bertha Coburn; he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sally Coburn; son, Michael P. Coburn Jr. (Ricky) of Palm Springs, CA and daughter, Jennifer Coburn (Laura) of Santa Fe, NM; sisters, Carol Kraszewski (Gene) of Akron, Colleen Boggs (Eddie) of Georgia, Margie Dunbar (Dave) Spencer, OH and sister-in-law, Doris Coburn of Akron; brothers-in-law, Robert Smith (Muffy) of Kirkland, WA and Tom Powers (Evy) of Spring Hill, FL; many, many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to Brian Katzenmeyer for being Sally's right hand through this Alzheimer's journey.
Mickey lived in Cuyahoga Falls for 50 years, retiring from teaching at Woodridge in 1996. Then golf became his passion.
The family would like to thank all the staff at The Arbors of Stow for their thoughtful, loving care. He knew and liked them all so much.
