Michael David Dell Angelo

Michael Dell Angelo, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2025. He was born in Akron, Ohio on December 13,1954 and lived most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He was a 1973 graduate of Archbishop Hoban High School, where he was a member of the wrestling team. He went on to attend the University of Akron.

Mike was a member of Ohio Laborers Local 894 and over the years worked on many construction and highway projects in the Akron area. After retiring in 2007, he spent much of his time in retirement riding motorcycles and driving fast cars. In recent years, he particularly enjoyed taking care of the yard and flowers, washing, waxing, and detailing his cars, and watching Guardians games.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Bruno Dell Angelo; and his mother, Agnes Simmons. He is survived by his wife, Sherri; daughters, Beth and Christina Dell Angelo; sister, Mary Parker; brother, Dominic Dell Angelo; step-mother, Harriet Dell Angelo; nieces, Brittany Parker and Theresa Schelthelm; two great nephews; sister-in-law, Patricia McIntire; and brother-in-law, Gary McIntire.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 2-5 P.M. SATURDAY April 26th, 2025 at the Hampton Woods Clubhouse 929 Hampton Ridge Dr., Akron 44313.
