Michael John Reedy

Michael John Reedy, 46, passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 31, 2020. He was a life-long resident of Summit County where he graduated from Hudson High School. Michael was an avid guitar player, voracious reader, and lover of animals. He was friendly and outgoing and was always willing to help anyone in need whether he knew them or not. He suffered from mental illness his entire adult life. The voices are finally silent and he is at peace in heaven playing his guitar, reading his bible, or holding his cat Princess. Michael is survived by his parents Melvin and Helen (Gerber) Reedy and his brother David Reedy as well as aunt and uncles Harry and Sue Reedy and David Hinman.  Due to COVID there will be no memorial at this time. The family asks that anyone wishing to make a memorial donation may send it to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Summit County at 150 Cross St., Akron, OH 44311.
