Michael J. Scarborough 73, of Akron, passed away Tuesday February 28, 2017.
He was employed for many years at G.M. Terex Division, played drums with the Johnny Boston Trio, and retired from Consolidated Freightways. He was an avid race car fan and enjoyed watching the Midget and Sprint car races. Michael was the beloved husband to his one and only love of 48 years, Jean (Boal).
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Jean; daughters Sheryl (Mark "deceased") Reitz, Vickie (Mark) Granam. Grandchildren Jaclyn (Mike) Michalec, Michelle Reitz, Madison-Taylor-Avery Granam; Great-Grandchildren Cambria Scarborough, Julian Michalec.
Cremation has already taken place. Private family services were held. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
