Michael (Mike) W. Krueske

August 10, 1957 — December 21, 2020

Michael (Mike) W. Krueske peacefully went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 21, 2020 after a short illness. He was born on August 10, 1957 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Mike was an active member of the Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarean) both in Mansfield for 23 years and the last 3 years in Akron.  Mike loved spending time in God’s word and learning about God’s glory.  He was a beloved Sunday School teacher and inspired the hearts of many young teens.  He always enjoyed helping with the audio/visual both at church and at Eastern Camp.  His greatest delight on this earth was serving his wife and 3 beautiful daughters.

He shared his gifts with as many as he met; an easy smile, a kind word and a calmness that was an example to all.  He loved talking and sharing stories with his many friends.  He had a tremendous gift of hospitality.  It was important to him that everyone was happy and then he could enjoy himself.  Over many years his passion became grilling, which he excelled at. Whenever there was a family gathering or picnic, you would always find Mike by the grill.

Mike was a competitive member of the Professional Bowlers Association for many years and he also served our country in the Air Force for 12 years ending in March 1990.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara (Vidakovics) Krueske; three cherished daughters, Angela (Matt) McKenzie, Kristina (15), Karissa (13) Krueske, and a granddaughter arriving in February. Brother Pat and Lana of Union Grove, Wisconsin and sister Kelly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and 5 nieces and nephew and many aunts, uncles, and cousins all of whom he cherished!  He is also survived by Frank and Sara Vidakovics his father and mother in-law, sisters-in-law: Lillian, Justine (Vinny) Piticaru, Kathy, Diana (Jason) Reutter, Tammy (Victor) Botosan, Esther (Sergei) Prediy and brother in-law Frank (Mimi) Vidakovics along with 26 nieces and nephews.  And both the church families at West Akron and Mansfield Apostolic Christian Churches.

He will be incredibly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Love) Krueske, his father William Krueske and his niece Brianna Botosan.
