Mildred M. Pruett

Mildred M. Pruett, 98 of Ravenna, formerly of Fairlawn passed away on March 7, 2022. Mildred was born in Fairmont, West Virginia on May 3, 1923 to the late Guy and Goldie Fast.

She was a longtime member of Montrose Zion United Methodist Church, enjoyed traveling, was an election poll worker, member of the Eastern Star Chapter #483 and Amaranth Akron #5, where she was past Grand Matron. She was a Real Estate Agent with Bethel Realtor and worked for BF Goodrich for 20 years.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband Horace “Bud” Pruett; sister Alice Mortimer and niece Sandra Jones. She is survived by her nephew George (Sue) Mortimer; niece Becky (Joe) LaNasa; nephew in law Harold Jones; great nephews Timothy Mather and Gregory Mortimer; great nieces Sheila Mortimer, Michele Mather, Sherri Waggoner and Lauri Burns; many great great nieces and nephews and cousins in West Virginia.

Funeral service will be at 10 AM on Saturday March 12, 2022 at Billow Funeral Home 85 N. Miller Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio 44333 with Rev. Dr. Bill Liming officiating, an Eastern Star service and an Amaranth service will be held on Saturday morning prior to the funeral. Family and friends may visit from 6-8 PM on Friday March 11, 2022 at the funeral home. Entombment will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park.
