Miriam H. Williams nee Hubbard, 93, passed away in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert E. Williams in 2006; she leaves her son, Bob; daughters, Susan Auten and Kim Parnello. She also has eight grandchildren and eight great-grandsons.
Born in Cleveland, she resided in Akron for over 50 years. She was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church, the Woman's City Club, Witan and board member of the Akron Rehab Center. In 2003, Miriam and her husband moved to Scottsdale, AZ to be closer to their children, Bob and Susan and their families. Prior to that, they had lived at The Village at St. Edward.
She will be missed as a mother, friend, grandmother and great-grandmother.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a contribution be made to Summa Hospitals Foundation, 525 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44309. Visitation for family and friends will take place at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Fairlawn, Ohio, Thursday, July 31 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel
