Nancy L Castanaro

Nancy L. (Hatch) Castanaro, 62, of Barberton, Ohio went to be with the Lord on February 6.
She was born on April 21, 1952 to Jane and Donald Hatch. Nancy graduated from Firestone High School in 1970 and earned her education degree from the University of Akron. Her teaching career spanned over 30 years, sharing her love of books and nature with many young children. Amidst her crocheting, treasure hunting and love of animals, her family was her number one priority. Her contagious laugh could brighten your day and she always cared about others with her kind heart and sweet nature. Nancy embraced life to the fullest making each day a new adventure. She taught you to look at a golden leaf or simple rock with new appreciation.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Hatch. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Castanaro; mother, Jane Hatch; children Michael (Bonnie) Romans, Elizabeth (Joey) Ramon; siblings, Tom (Janice) Hatch, Susan (Roy) Mook, David (Michele) Hatch; sister-in-law, Martha (Blaine) Castanaro-Hite; grandchildren Deven, Hailey, Violet and Luke; many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Southwest Church of Christ with Rev. Nathan Robinson officiating. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N.
