Nancy Digirolamo

Nancy DiGirolamo, age 85, passed away November 25, 2021. We remember Nancy as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Nancy and her husband, Vince, were married for 63 years. Their love was especially amazing and inspiring to watch. Their marriage was one we all looked up to.

Nancy was an English teacher and also worked in the rectory at Holy Family Parish. She gave up her career to raise her children. She took care of household tasks, helped with homework, and always encouraged her kids to be the best in all the sports they played. She loved her family with her whole heart. She always had a way of making each one of us feel so special.

Nancy was a strong Catholic parishioner and active philanthropist. She and Vince were frequently honored for their charitable donations to the Summa Cancer Center.

Nancy had many hobbies and passions, was an amazing cook, and loved golf and swimming. She especially enjoyed her morning crossword puzzle with breakfast.

Nancy had many friends. She loved them the same way she loved her own family. Nancy lived a full life of travel and adventures! Nancy and Vince wintered in Arizona for many years. Arizona was her happy place.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Vince; children, Annette and Alan; daughter-in-law Renata; grandchildren; Sarah, Chris, Pamela, Nick, Tony, and Ana; great-grandchildren Owen and Austin. She is now at peace with her son David, who has been watching her from heaven.

Calling hours 5-8 p.m. THURSDAY December 2, 2021 at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Paul J. Rosing at 11 a.m. FRIDAY December 3, 2021 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3179 Kent Road, Stow, OH 44224. Interment at Stow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nancy’s name may be made to the Summa Foundation, 525 E. Market Street Akron, OH 44304.
