Nancy J. Hamm

Nancy J. Hamm Nancy J. Hamm, 67, passed away unexpectedly September 18, 2011. Born in Akron, she grew up in Findlay and lived in Akron most of her adult life. Nancy retired from National City Bank after 36 years of service. After retirement, she worked at the Brookwood Condominium Association and later was employed at Centrust. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Velma McDonald; brother-in-law, Norman Phillips; she is survived by her loving sister, Sue Phillips; nieces, Julie Jim Conner, Susan John Wright, Lisa Doug Walters, Kim Eric Higgins; and numerous great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron with Rev. Amy Starr Redwine officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association , 1815 W. Market St. #108, Akron, OH 44313.
