Nancy E. Lampasone

Nancy Ellen Lampasone, 62, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2016 at Akron General Medical Center.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Rich, of Bath; children, Lauren (Todd Mazierski) and Richard of Brooklyn, NY; siblings, Susan Ayers of Stow, Margaret (James) Yost of New Baltmore, MI, Michael Ayers and Amy Calderwood of Cuyahoga Falls, and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Jacqueline Ayers (nee Giannini) and brother John (Denise) Ayers.

Nancy was born in Akron and lived most of her life in Bath Township. She was a loving and devoted mother whose family was the joy of her life. Nancy also worked as a nurse and a bookseller. Nancy was known and loved for her skills in cooking and entertaining for friends at home. She had talent in sewing and crafting and sold her wares before Etsy was a thing. She had a wicked sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was a voracious book reader and consumer of pop culture. She volunteered at the Library Shop on Main for many years.

A service celebrating Nancy's life will take place 7 p.m. MONDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Friends of the Main Library at 60 South High Street, Akron, Ohio 44326. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
