Nellie Hanna, age 95, died peacefully on Sept. 19, 2015.
Nellie was the sweetest, most loving woman and was loved by all whose path she crossed. Her family was everything to her and there was nothing she wouldn't have sacrificed for them.
Preceded in death by parents, Sam & Minnie Kassouf; siblings, Fred Kassouf, Tillie Ganim and Vonnie Abood; and husband, Edmond Hanna; she is survived by children, Jeff (Ginny) Hanna, Wendy (Bob) Henighan, Jackie (Rick) Ziegman, and Debi (Gary) Jacob; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, who were the love of her life; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 28 at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel , 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron OH 44333. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association Research Fund, 222 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 1500, Chicago IL 60606 or www.mda.org .
