Norma Vosper

Norma Fisher Vosper, 89, died peacefully on December 30, 2014 with her family at her side. She was a warm, loving person who always looked on the bright side of things.

Norma was born in Akron and graduated from Ellet High School and from Heidelberg College in 1946. She worked at Ohio Bell until 1958 and also worked at Akron-Medina Veterinary Hospital for 21 years. She was past president of Fairlawn Village Women's Club and volunteered for the American Cancer Society. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, old movies and playing cards.

To cherish her memory, Norma leaves her loving daughter, Lauren Gamauf; son-in-law, Tim; grandchildren, Emily and Steven; special niece, Nan Naugle (Bob); nephew, Jon Baker (Sue); nieces, Susan Vosper and Barb Dance (Henry); sister-in-law, Jan Vosper; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Donald and her beloved sister, Helen Baker.

Service will be held MONDAY, January 5 at 11 a.m. at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd. with Rev David E. Loar officiating. Private interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call on SUNDAY, January 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
