Norval Nestor

March 13, 1919 — May 26, 2015

Norval G. Nestor, 96, died May 26, 2015.

Born in St. George, W. Virginia, he lived most of his life in Akron. He served his country as an Army Master Sergeant, 240th Quartermaster Depot in World War II. A member of Woodland United Methodist Church, he retired as a foreman from B.F. Goodrich Chemical and volunteered over 30 years at Open M.

Preceded in death by wife, Helen; he is survived by son, David (Sharon) Nestor; daughter, Judy Rodger; and grandson, Austin.

Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. Friday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., followed by a service at 3 p.m. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Woodland United Methodist Church, 444 N. Hawkins Ave., Akron, OH 44313. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
