Owen Rice, Sr., 91, died May 11, 2009.
Born in Huntsville, Alabama, Mr. Rice was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, had retired from Portage Machine and was known as the tomato man of Wyoga Lake Road.
Preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn H. Rice in 1997, he is survived by his sons, Owen Rice, Jr. of Cuyahoga Falls and Jerry Rice; brother, William Lorene Rice, all of Huntsville, Ala.; nephews and nieces.

Services will be held 11 a.m. FRIDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St. Entombment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home 7 to 9 p.m. THURSDAY. Billow FALLS Chapel
