Palma Rose "Polly" Doria died September 5, 2008.
Polly was the loved matriarchal sibling to all her sisters and brother. Surviving Polly are her sister, Maryanna Doria; Maryanna's husband, her brother-in-law, William S. Zorn of Akron; and her sister-in-law, Josephine Doria of Cincinnati, Ohio; plus many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Polly was born on October 10th, 1922 in Vandergrift, Pa. She was a graduate of Bowling Green College in Kentucky. Polly worked over 40 years in her beloved Pittsburgh, Pa. for the Dravo Corporation. After retirement, she worked for Kelly Services of Pittsburgh. She moved to Akron, Ohio two years ago to be closer to her family.
Burial services will take place in Vandergrift, Pa., to be announced at a later date.
