Patricia "Pat" Anderson

Patricia “Pat” Anderson , age 88, passed away on February 26, 2024. She was born on June 1, 1935, to Joseph and Neva (nee: Harris) Smart in Barberton, OH. She recently moved to Copley, OH.

Patricia is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 69 years, James; children, Vicki (Dan) Bowling, Susan Genet, and Keith (Monica) Anderson; sister, Linda Bishop; grandchildren, Aimee (AJ) Ritter, Adam Bowling, Amber (Paul) Barkoukis, Heather (Paul) Rodgers, Lisa (Keith) Luck, Kris Bowling, Andy Genet, and Cody Bowling; nine great-grandchildren; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Marguerite Aman, Donna Smart, Karen Smart, John Smart, and Robert Smart; and son-in-law, Bill Genet.

Patricia loved to travel, read, craft and sew. Her life was marked by love, kindness, and unwavering strength. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. A gathering for the family will be held at a later date to celebrate her remarkable life. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their exceptional care and support during her final days.
