Patricia Anne nee Garrigan Chiles, 82, died January 18, 2009.
Born in Marietta, Ohio, she was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Women's Board of Akron General Medical Center, Junior League of Akron, Women's Committee of the University of Akron and was a flower arranger at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens.
Preceded in death by husband, Ted; she is survived by son, Ted Chella; daughter, Christine Paul Szalay; grandchildren, Paul Shelley Szalay, Keith Leslie Szalay and Traci Larry London; great-grandchildren, Carter, Elizabeth, Ella, Kyle and Christi; brothers, Ed Garrigan of Marathon, Florida and John Garrigan of Tucson, Arizona; sister, Jean Churchill of Raleigh, North Carolina; and 13 nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday in the Chapel of St. Paul's Episcopal Church corner of W. Market St. and Kenilworth Dr. with Rev. Dena Cleaver-Bartholomew officiating. Private Inurnment at Rose Hill Burial Park. There are no calling hours. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, 714 N. Portage Path, Akron 44303-1399.
