Patricia Mcneill Henshaw

June 23, 1930 — January 11, 2022

Patricia McNeill Henshaw, 91, passed away peacefully January 11, 2022. She was born in Clarksburg, W. Va. to Paul and Elizabeth McNeill. She graduated from Washington Irving High School and received a bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University. While at West Virginia University, she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. While raising her two children she returned to Kent State University and received her teaching certificate. She then taught elementary education in the Woodridge School District where she lived. She was very fond of all her students. Although she loved living in Ohio for over 70 years and traveled the world with her beloved husband, Marion, she always considered herself a proud Mountaineer.

Pat was a member of the Northminster Presbyterian Church, International Chapter P.E.O. Sisterhood, and the University of Akron Women’s Committee.

Preceded in death by her husband, Marion, and daughter, Ann, she is survived by her son, James (Jean); grandson, Gregory (Bethany) Ferreri; and great-grandchildren, Aleksander Jakub, Aleyna Ann and Alesha Lyn.

At her request, cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held with inurnment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
