Patricia Ann Knuckles

October 28, 1948 — December 30, 2015

Patricia Ann Knuckles was born on October 28, 1948 to Ruth and Jesse Morris in Uniontown, Pa., and was raised in Adah, Pa. Patricia was called home to be with the Lord on December 30, 2015.

Patricia graduated from German Township High School and then moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked for the federal government for a short period as a secretary. Patricia's major occupations in life included secretarial work as an administrative assistant for Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and as a home health care aide.

Patricia lived in a number of places during her lifetime, including Cleveland, Ohio, San Diego, California, Uniontown, Pa., and lastly, Akron, Ohio. Patricia was blessed with two beautiful children, Dana (son) and Yvette (daughter), whom she raised with the support of their step-father, Alonzo Harris, now deceased. Patty married and divorced, but remained close friends with her ex-spouses, to also include Byron Taylor.

However, Patricia felt her greatest accomplishment was serving the Lord. In 2009, God revealed to Patricia her true purpose for being...in which she began working directly for the Lord. She studied the "Word" diligently resulting in obtaining a "Certificate of License" as Evangelist/Associate Pastor by New Covenant Ministries of America, Inc. Patricia was a true servant of God, praising His name and sharing the Gospel with anyone and everywhere, fulfilling the "Great Commission." Prisoners had a special place in Patricia's heart. Through Divine guidance, Patricia started a prison ministry, "Words of Wisdom/New Covenant Ministries of America, Inc.", in which she became spiritually devoted to leading souls to Christ. As she grew spiritually wiser, she became overwhelmingly compelled to share her understanding of Him who taught her.

Patricia was Spirit filled and never waived, even thru sickness and pain and emphatically believed that God's grace is sufficient and that God will make a way. She always would close her letters with "Fear not, stay focused, and watch God provide."

Throughout her journey in life, Patricia met beautiful people who brought her much comfort and joy, treating her just like family. She felt truly blessed during the past year, having met Pastor Tecumseh Stewart. They developed a close friendship, culminating in an engagement, which really delighted her.

In addition to her ministry, Patricia enjoyed cooking for family and friends and had a good sense of humor. Patricia felt strongly about family and encouraged everyone to keep their hearts open and to remain close.
Patricia was preceded in death by her mother and father, Ruth and Jesse Morris; Step-mother, Bernice Morris; Siblings, Shelly Morris, Darlene Duck and Raymond Duck; and Granddaughter, Knemiah Lyons.
She leaves to cherish her memories her Children; Dana Lyons of Buffalo, New York and Yvette Lapp of Uniontown, Pa.; Siblings, Sonya Morris of Owings Mills, Md., Jesse Morris and spouse Joanne of Beaufort, S. Carolina, Jerome Morris and spouse Kathy of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, and Adam Morris, Louisville, Kentucky; Grandchildren, Randy, Brandon, Karly, Adan, Evelyn, and Hydia; Great Grandchild, Tyler; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
