Patricia J. Mitchell, 86, died December 19, 2015.
Born in Leipsic, Ohio March 9, 1929 to Frank and Marguerite Leyser Thompson, she had been an Akron area resident since 1959. She was a member of Phi Mu Fraternity at Bowling Green University, the Akron Woman's City Club, Bath Gamma Garden Club, president of the Savanna Club of Florida, and Christ United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Ciraldo and brother, Richard Thompson; she is survived by her husband, Ronald B. Mitchell, M.D.; sons, Robert B. (Lois) Mitchell, Thomas W. (Ginger) Mitchell D.D.S. and James R. (Cathy) Mitchell; son-in-law, Alfred Ciraldo M.D.; 12 grandchildren.
Services will be held 11 a.m. TUESDAY at Christ United Methodist Church, 380 Mineola Ave., with Rev. Linda Slutz officiating. Friends are invited to gather beginning at 10:15 a.m. prior to the service. Interment Wednesday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeside Association, 236 Walnut Avenue, Lakeside, OH 43440. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
