Patricia Billow Morgan, 91, died February 1, 2017
Patricia was born to Paul and Vyla Billow on May 21,1925. She was a life resident of the Akron Area and was graduated from King Elementary School and Old Trail High School. Pat attended Denison University where she pledged Kappa Kappa Gamma, and she transferred to the University of Akron where she received her B.A. in 1947.
She married Charles Morgan in 1949. She became a member of the Women's Board of Children's Hospital, the Junior League of Akron, and The Diggers and Weeders Garden Club. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Bible Study Fellowship. Her hobby was painting, and she painted anything and everything for family, friends, and neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 42 years, Dr. Charles Morgan; her sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie and Bob Wheeler; her brother-in-law and wife, Moyne and Mary Alice Morgan and her son-in-law, Jim McFarland. She leaves her 4 children, Julie McFarland, John (Corinne) Morgan, James (Marlene) Morgan and Jeffrey (Sandi) Morgan, 7 grandchildren, John(Kimberly) Morgan, Bradford (Hannah) Morgan, Jason(Sandra) Morgan, Laura Morgan, and Matthew Morgan, Michelle (Joshua) Christner and Steven Morgan 4 great grandsons: Noah, Charlie, Rhys and Owen,Brother in law Richard (Carolyn) Morgan and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. WEDNESDAY at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with Rev. Mark J. Pruitt officiating. A reception will follow at the church. Private interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of Flowers she asks to have contributions made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1361 West Market St. Akron, OH 44313 or Akron Children's Hospital, One Perkins Square, Akron, OH 44308.
