She was born in Clarksville, TN, July 1, 1940 to Robert Evans and Mary E. Allbritten Hamlin. Patricia had worked at O'Neil's and at Akron City Hospital. She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, James D. Smith; brother, Robert Hamlin and sister, Carol Downey; she is survived by brother, Michael (Diane) Hamlin; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Services will be held 12 Noon MONDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. David Loar officiating. Interment at Glendale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
