Patrick Lacy King

February 18, 1934 — July 24, 2013

Patrick Lacy King, 79, beloved father and devoted grandfather, passed away July 24, 2013.

Born in Macon, Missouri, he was an Eagle Scout, graduate of Missouri University with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and U.S. Army veteran. Very mechanically minded, Pat loved to tinker with just about anything. He started his career as an electrical engineer with Westinghouse, moved to sales with Bear Marketing and from there, started his own financial planning company.

Preceded in death by his wife, Judith; son, Terry and parents, William, Nola and step-mother Oline; he is survived by his sons, Dennis (Beverly), Michael (Linda) and John King; grandchildren, Michael, Justin, Ian King and Heidi Howard; step-sister, Doris Wilkerson.

A memorial service will be held 8pm Thursday, August 8th at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 104 W. Portage Trail Ext. with Rev. Robert Sykes officiating. Private inurnment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Woodridge High School Judy and Pat King Music Scholarship made payable to the Woodridge Music Club.
