It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Patrick (Pat) David Sullivan on August 12th, 2021, at his home in Canal Fulton, Ohio. Pat was born in Akron, Ohio on January 24, 1962, to Suzanne and James Sullivan. His entire working career was dedicated to helping those in need. Pat loved to fish, especially in the Outer Banks and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns. Pat was a loving husband, father and Opa. His greatest joy was spending time with his family who meant the world to him, who will greatly miss him and will live life to the fullest as his legacy. He was a graduate of Firestone High School and attended both St. Sebastian elementary and St. Vincent-St. Mary high school.
Pat is survived by his wife of 34 years, Suzanne; his three children, Sarah Maistros (Alex), Andrew Sullivan (Autumn), Emily Sullivan; grandsons, Liam and Beckham Sullivan, Luke Maistros; granddaughter, Eleanor Maistros; mother, Suzanne Sullivan; brothers and sisters, Michael Sullivan (Donna), Gregory Sullivan (Kim), Carolyn Sullivan (Gary), Cathleen Sullivan. Pat was preceded in death by his father, James Patrick Sullivan.
Services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2021 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 476 Mull Ave. Akron, Ohio 44320, with visitation from 11:30 am-12:30 pm and Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the National Parks Foundation at nationalparks.com .
