Pattie Sue Mccolgan

Pattie Sue McColgan, 86, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2022.

She was predeceased by her parents and her loving husband M.J. McColgan. Pattie and Jim shared 51 years together until his passing. Pattie is lovingly remembered by her daughter, grandson, niece, nephew, and many cousins. Pattie enjoyed playing bridge at St. Hilary’s and the Fairlawn Country Club, gardening, travel, and theater. She was a graduate of East High School in Akron and was a long-time member of the Welcomer’s Club. Pattie loved life and her family and friends. She was warmhearted, greeted people with a genuine smile and looked on others kindly. She will be remembered fondly and missed by family and friends alike.

Calling hours will be held from 12pm to 1pm with a memorial service to follow at 1pm on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Billow’s Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron OH 44333. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined. The family asks that you wear a mask and practice social distancing during the services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Bath Church UCC, NAMI Summit County, or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
