Paul Dixon, 77, passed away peacefully August 2, 2012.
Paul was employed as a wireman at the Akron Beacon Journal and later worked full time within the banking industry, from which he retired. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sister, Sue Mayes and many nieces and nephews.
Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron with Rev. David Loar officiating. Burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery where military honors will be conducted. Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
