Pauline R. Thompson, 94, died August 12, 2013.
Born May 28, 1919 in Akron to Paul and Hazel (Crawford) Romig, she lived most of her life in Akron. Pauline was a 1936 graduate of Buchtel High School and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Akron in 1939, where she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority.
Preceded in death by her cherished husband of 64 years, Charles R. Thompson and brother, Gerald V. Romig; she is survived by daughters, Nancy Thompson (Tom Upton) and Laurie Thompson; grandsons, Samuel and Charles Austin Kasserman; nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park. There are no calling hours. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
