Pauline H. Thornton, 86, died July 1, 2009.
Born in Charleston, W.Va., she lived in the Akron area most of her life. Pauline was a homemaker and talented seamstress having made all of her own clothing.
Preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Goldie Skeen and brother, Paul Skeen; she is survived by her husband, Tom of New Franklin; and many cousins in West Virginia.
A memorial service will be held Noon WEDNESDAY at the Billow LAKES Chapel, 472 W. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., with Rev. Sandra Selby officiating. Inurnment at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
