Peg Sanford, 74, passed away after a brief illness on September 4, 2012. An Akron native, she was a graduate of Kent State University. She worked as a teacher, bookseller and gardener.
She was the daughter of the late Grover and Margaret Wells and is survived by her husband, Terry; son, Kevin Justice; daughter, Kathy (James) Patuc; step-daughter, Jill (Jeff) Weaver; brother, James (Paula) Wells; sister, Josephine Johansson; step-grandchildren, Caleb and Sierra Weaver; and nephews.
A Memorial/Celebration of her Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 26th. at the Mingo Lodge in Sand Run Park off the Parkway. In the event of rain enter from the Portage Path side. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be directed to the American Cancer Society or OhioPugRescue.com.
