Ralph L. Glossner, 102, was born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania on November 26, 1906 and went to the Lord on April 6, 2009.
Ralph was a 1923 graduate of Lock Haven High School. After graduation he moved to Kent, Ohio where he met and married Elaine Drew. They moved to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio where they lived the remainder of their lives. Ralph worked as an accountant for the B.F. Goodrich Company and retired from there after 40 years of service. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge of Cuyahoga Falls for over 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine in 2004. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Clyde F. Glossner, Marion Hoffman, and Kate Glossner all of Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.
There will be no calling hours and the family requests no flowers. A graveside service will be held at Standing Rock Cemetery, in Kent, Ohio at 11 a.m. Tuesday, APRIL 21, 2009 with Rev. Susan Lausch officiating. He will be buried alongside his wife of 75 years. Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls OH 44221.
