Ramona A. Leon, 89, passed away May 29, 2011.
She was born in Galion, Ohio and lived most of her life in the Akron area. During World War II, Ramona worked as a ``Rosie the Riveter.'
Miss Leon is survived by her devoted sister, Mary Travis, numerous loving nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
Catholic funeral service will be held 11 a.m. WEDNESDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Fr. Steven Brunovsky officiating. Final resting place at Holy Cross Cemetery with private interment. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on WEDNESDAY.
