Randy J Sixt

It is with great sorrow The Sixt Family mourns the loss of their son, husband, soulmate, father, grandpop, Randy J. Sixt.

Randy was born September 30th, 1963 in Akron, OH and he departed from his family on July 7, 2022.

Randy will be welcomed home by his brother, Ricky L. Sixt, his grandparents H. Lee & Edna Smith, Leroy K. & H. Jane Sixt and his Aunt Paula Richards. He will be remembered by his loving family: mother Gloria F. Sixt, wife Shaire L. Smith Sixt, beloved children Andrew, Alexandre, Arryn, Aschertyn, adored granddaughters Lacey & Alanna and extended family Amber Richmond & her children Colton & Jordan along with many friends & family.

After graduating from Field High in 1981, Randy worked in the shipping department at Bellow Sign, then trained as a truck driver leading to delivery roles at Sokols furniture & Furniture Depot while working nights as a resident asst. for Blick Clinic.

Randy was a dedicated family man. He faithfully watched his granddaughters before & after school, cared for his mother, helped others, as well as, working full time.

Randy attended all the family events, birthdays, concerts, recitals, athletic events that he could. He enjoyed all sports. He liked to play golf with his friends & his mom and coached soccer (SUSA) for several years.  More recently Randy has enjoyed playing tennis with Aschertyn, corn hole, dice, uno & badminton with friends & family, discussing construction with Alexandre, playing anything & everything with Lacey & Alanna and laughing & joking with Colton & Jordan.

His passing has left us with immense heartache & a void in our hearts.

Memorial funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 6:00 PM, at the Billow Falls Chapel, 1907 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 with visitation beginning at 4:00 PM.

Family wishes to invite any and all who knew Randy to join us for a celebration of his life immediately following the service at Carovillese Lodge, 570 E. Cuyahoga Falls Ave, Akron, OH 44310. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice, take a hike or plant a tree.
