Rebecca I Emich

Rebecca "Becky" Emich, 86, was called home to be with her Lord on Wednesday May 27, 2015.

She was born July 31, 1928 in Mansfield, OH where she lived until moving to Akron to marry the love of her life on May 31, 1948. Becky, Mom, Grammy, was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Nothing made her happier than being with her family. Although she enjoyed traveling, home is where her heart always was. She will be remembered as a wonderful homemaker and partner in family businesses. For many years she was involved in the Merriman Hills Garden Club, Twigs, Hope Groups and was a member of Lakeside Christian Church.

Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Walter Allen Emich, her parents and 7 siblings; she is survived by her daughters, Jenni Campbell of Staunton, Va, Elise (Mark) Zielinski of Dayton, Lynette (William) Skidmore of Chardon; grandchildren, Meghan Shapiro, Ben Campbell, Caylin Boisvert, Jared and Trisha Zielinski, Tiffany Bosiacki, Amy Hayward, Melissa Skidmore; and 6 great grandchildren.

Service will be held 11 a.m. MONDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Akron with Minister Petar Nenadov officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. SUNDAY at the funeral home. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to Lakeside Christian Church, 3535 Knollwood Ln., Akron OH 44313 or a charity of your choice.
