Retha P. Holderfield, 79, passed away Sept. 30, 2009 at Rose Lane Health Center.
Born in Copley, she lived most of her life in the Richfield and Copley areas. She attended Richfield Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for several years.
Preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Irma Shaw; sister, Dorlo Shaffer; her first husband, Robert Strboya and second husband, William Holderfield; she is survived by daughter, Carol Troxell; son, Robert Strboya, Jr.; grandchildren, Debby, Sherry, Lisa, Justin, Zach, Robert and Crystal; seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; and brothers, William and Arthur Shaw.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., where friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Interment at Moore's Chapel Cemetery.
