Rev.Clement Humbard

April 4, 1923 — May 20, 2012

Sunday, May 20th, 2012, Rev. Clement Humbard, a servant of Jesus Christ, made his final journey home to be with the Lord.

Clement Humbard was born into a family o f musicians, pastors, evangelists, and received a rich heritage of Christian faith from godly parents with a fifty-year ministry. He served faithfully with his family, the original Humbard Family Singers, traveling across the United States and Canada during the 1930's and 1940's in Gospel Tent Crusades.

An early pioneer in gospel radio, religious telecasting, citywide crusades, and revival meetings, Rev. Humbard was also the founder, pastor and builder of a mega-church in Youngstown, Ohio; Calvary Temple. As a revivalist and psalmist, Rev. Humbard faithfully shared God's love and continuously ministered through anointed preaching and the gift of music. His ministry touched families around the world.

Gifted to help those in need; feeding, clothing and serving lost and searching souls, Clement would give the tie off his neck and the suit off his back; carrying out the work of a true servant of Christ here on earth until his final days. Always giving of himself, he served others with faithful love, including his family and the body of Christ.

Branson Clement Edward Humbard, was the son of Alpha Edward and Martha Bell, and beloved brother of Akron Pastor, Rev. Rex Humbard. He was born April 24th, 1923 in Pangburn, Arkansas.

Although chronologically he passed at 89, for those that knew him, he was "Forever Young."

He is survived by his wife, Frances Faye; sisters, Leona Jones and Juanita Banker; his seven children: Rebecca, Delilah, Dru, Sue, Angela, Gordon, B.G.; and also grandfather to 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Reverend Rex Humbard; and two sisters, Ruth Davidson and Mary Humbard.
