Richard E. Srail, 82, died October 24, 2013.
Born in Cleveland April 4, 1931 to the late Charles and Frances Klima Srail, he had lived most of his life in Cuyahoga Falls. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, Rich was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Cuyahoga Falls Lodge #735 F&AM and of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls. He was a chemical engineer, retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber company with 38 years service. Rich enjoyed traveling and vacationing with his family.
Preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Rae; he is survived by his children, Karen (Bob) Rupert of Atwood Lake, Jack (Vicki) Srail of Medina; grandchildren, Tim and Bear (Ashley) Rupert, Sam, Jack and Caroline Srail; great-grandchildren, Garrett, Madelyn Rae and Preston Rupert. He is also survived by best friend and brother, Raymond (Arline) Srail and his family.
Services will be held Noon TUESDAY at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., with Rev. David A. Baker officiating. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home MONDAY from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Tuesday.
