Richard L Sikula

Richard L. Sikula passed away on March 11, 2018 at the age of 80. He was currently residing back in Cuyahoga Falls, OH, formerly having resided in Garden City Michigan and Northampton Township.

Richard was born on November 24, 1937 in Akron, OH, "on a cloudy Wednesday morning the day before Thanksgiving on the second floor in a round room on East Exchange Street. There were raindrops on the window."

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Louis Sikula; and also his wife, Shirley Ann; and children, Michael Dean and Lisa Marie. He is survived by his children, Ann (Bob) Skotschir, Carol R. Hilton, Richard L. Sikula II; grandchildren, Raymond (Jessica) Skotschir, Katherine Seem, Paul (Katie) Hilton, Heather (Adam) Cameron, Keith (Nici) Skotschir, Daryll and Kyle Seitz and Robyn Sikula; as well as many great-grandchildren.

Richard had been an active member of the Cuyahoga Falls Lodge #735 F&AM. He worked at Massey Ferguson as well as a volunteer for the Northampton Township Fire Department. He also retired as a maintenance electrician from General Motors of Michigan after 34 years service.

Friends will be received at the Billow FALLS Chapel, 1907 23rd St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 on FRIDAY from 4 to 7 p.m. where the funeral service will be held 10 a.m. SATURDAY. Interement at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Cuyahoga Falls Lodge #735 F&AM.
