Robert B. Williams
Mr. Robert B. Williams passed away January 3, 2009 in Alexander City, Alabama.
He was born on July 17, 1913 in Akron, Ohio and lived there until 2000. He relocated to Alabama in 2000 to be closer to his children. Mr. Williams was an avid golfer and played until age 93. He was a member of Coventry Masonic Lodge in Akron. He was a veteran of World War II serving as an aerial photographer and map maker in the Army Air Corp.
He is survived by his son, James Williams Betty of Cumming, Ga.; daughter, Ann Whitehurst Mark of Jackson's Gap, Ala.; brother, William "Bill" Williams; sister, Norma Stark; fiancé, Jenell Keel; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Williams; brother, Carl Williams and his parents, George and Gertrude Williams.
Graveside services will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 1:30 p.m.
