Robert Bloomquist

Rev. Dr. Robert R. Bloomquist, 65, passed peacefully to his home in heaven on February 21, 2015 with his wife by his side.

He served as a United Methodist Pastor for 35 years, retiring in mid-December of 2014.

Preceded in death by his parents, C. Ross and Lois Bloomquist; survived by his wife of 40 years, Gloria; son, Joseph of Florida; grandchildren, Mikala Bloomquist and Kyle Walker; brother, Bill Bloomquist and sister, Sara (Rick) Swain all of Colorado; and brother-in-law, Denny Frank.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. THURSDAY, February 26th at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Roger Hayes officiating. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call on THURSDAY from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. There will be a celebration of life service on Sunday March 1st at @ 2 p.m. at the Plymouth United Methodist Church with Rev. Roger Hayes and Brian Hartzell officiating.
