Robert "Bob" Williams

Robert "Bob" Williams, age 77, went home to be with the Lord April 3, 2013 at Western Reserve Masonic Community.
He was born in Akron, Ohio, and graduated from Buchtel High School. Bob served in the U.S. Army and retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of Coventry-Akron Lodge #83 F&AM and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur "Cece" Williams and Ethel Williams Lewis; Bob leaves Mary, his wife of almost 55 years; sons, Rev. Dr. David, Richard (Amy Indorf), James (Pam); grandsons, Ryan Williams of Florida, Colin and Joel Williams of Wadsworth; step-sister, Barbara Lewis Sullivan and brother-in-law, Wilford "Bill" Lutz.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff and nursing aides at Western Reserve Masonic Nursing for their care of Bob and support.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 13th at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. David Williams and Rev. Eileen Woyen. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Huntington's Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Ave., Suite 902.
