Robert E. Clark
Robert E. Clark died peacefully on March 15, 2009.
Mr. Clark was born in Youngstown on November 1, 1916, and lived in the area since 1946. He owned and operated Clark Associates Artists for many years. A World War II veteran, Mr. Clark served in the African and Italian Theaters, and wrote and illustrated for several military newspapers, including Stars and Stripes.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary in 1984. He is survived by his children, David and Donna Clark of Akron, James Clark and Peggy Montalbano of North Carolina, and Linda and Thomas Bayman of Wadsworth. Also surviving are the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Tracy and Doug Montgomery, Christopher Bayman and Robin Clark; and his great-grandchildren, Ella Rose and Maxwell Clark Montgomery. We would also like to extend our love and appreciation to all of Dad's caregivers, Phyllis, Diane, and Tammy. Also, thank you to Kim and Mercedez from Maxim, and Mindy from Crossroads Hospice. In particular, we would like to thank his devoted friend, Karen McQuaid.
