Robert L. Hardway, 89, went home to be with the Lord August 16, 2018.
Born in Frametown, WV, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran. A member of Grace Church, Bath Campus Extension, he was a retired crane operator for Babcock & Wilcox with 40 years service.
Preceded in death by his parents; baby daughter, Michele; three sisters and one brother; he is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elsie; sons, David S. (Lara) and Scott M. (Angela) Hardway; grandchildren, Joseph, Nathan, Natalie and Nicole.
Services will be held 11 a.m. WEDNESDAY at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Pastor Ryan Rodeman officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home TUESDAY 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Summit County, 7996 Darrow Rd., Twinsburg, OH 44087.
