Robert G. Petrovich, 73, died November 22, 2011. Born in Akron, he was a life resident.
Bob played football and baseball at Buchtel High School and The University of Akron, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. He continued to play baseball while he served in the U.S. Army. The owner of Bobby's Bistro for 20 years, his loves were always his family, friends, cooking and sports.
He is survived by his wife, Sally; sister, Pauline Patterson; daughters, Tracy Gogel and Robin Djakovic David; granddaughters, Tia Petrovich and Talia Gogle; step-sons, Michael Modarelli Elizabeth and David Modarelli Jody; step-grandson, Charles Modarelli; step-daughters, Melanie Larson and Diane Massey Carl; nephew, Jeffrey Nickolich.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place 3:30 p.m. SATURDAY, December 3rd., at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Harry Knotts officiating. Friends may call SATURDAY from 1:30 until the service begins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association , 70 W. Streetsboro Rd. #20, Hudson, Ohio 44236.
