Robert G. Schaub, 76, died March 1, 2009 surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Wheeling, W. Virginia, he was a U.S. Army Corporal serving in the Korean War. He was a pitching prospect with the Pittsburgh Pirates Farm Club and retired from Tru-Bore Machine in Barberton, Ohio.
A loving husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by wife, Diane; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Tracy; daughter, Tara; granddaughter, Alexis Skye; and many nieces and nephews.
There are no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron, One Perkins Square, Akron 44308. Billow LAKES Chapel
